Our children and teenagers are not just the church of tomorrow, they are an active growing part of our congregation today. No matter your age, we want you to feel at home as you learn, love, and live your faith in Jesus Christ.
OAK GROVE KIDS
All volunteers in our children's ministry must undergo a background check before serving.
Nursery
We love having babies in our service! First off let us stress that you are more than welcome to have your child of any age join you in the worship service, however, we understand that there are times when you may need to take advantage of our church nursery. We offer nursery service throughout our entire morning worship. Our caring volunteers are parents and grandparents with years of experience with babies and children, allowing you to focus on worship and growing in your faith.
Sunday School (Sundays at 10:00 am)
Your child's journey with God begins in Sunday School. Here they have fun while learning about Jesus and the Bible at their level with games and music not just for enjoyment but to also reinforce the lesson. In addition to the nursery, we offer two classes for children, one for preschool through kindergarten and one for elementary-age kids. Both classes utilize the Gospel Project Curriculum. The lessons are designed to go hand in hand with the adult small groups and worship allowing you to have one faith conversation with the whole family.
Children's Church (Sundays at 11:00 am)
After a time of all ages worshiping together, the children (prek-5th grade) get their own worship time! This is where your child will really begin to connect with friends and discover the love of God for each and every one of us. Interactive lessons, crafts, music, and more, all of it focused on the Biblical truths they will remember long after the service is over.
Wednesday Night - Oak Grove Kids Club (7:00 pm)
After our brief midweek worship, the kids (prek-5th grade) dismiss to their own club where they have fun, play games - and also learn more about who God is and how we follow Him. Our midweek focuses on learning the spiritual disciplines vital to our faith like prayer, worship, and evangelism in a safe, fun environment.

OAK GROVE YOUTH
Sunday & Wednesday Youth Group (Grades 6-12)
We understand that young people face life issues that can be challenging. In our Sunday morning youth class (10:00 am), they learn how Jesus is the hero who not only sets them free but also walks hand in hand with them no matter what they are facing. Our youth learn the essential Christian doctrines and see how the Bible is just as true today as it was when it was first written. The youth class utilizes the Gospel Project curriculum with lessons designed to go hand in hand with the adult small groups and worship allowing you to have one faith conversation with the whole family.
On Wednesday nights (7:00 pm) they get to be themselves and talk out what they are dealing with through the week, discover where their faith is leading them, and see how God is working in them, through them, and around them.
